APR-23-13 On April 23rd, the Forum for Collaborative HIV Research convened the 10th HCV Drug Development Advisory Group (DrAG) meeting in Amsterdam, in conjunction with the 48th annual European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) conference.

JAN-07-13 With the FDA approval and availability of Truvada for PrEP, clinical trial design and regulatory issues facing PrEP and microbicide trials must be considered to facilitate research and development of new prevention modalities.

DEC-13-12  A scientific roadmap is needed for NGS applications involving viral species and quasispecies, encompassing technological validation to clinical utility studies. Alongside analytical and clinical acceptance criteria, regulatory parameters are needed for: the validation of NGS as a diagnostic assay, NGS-derived data for drug submissions and NGS as a CLIA-governed laboratory-developed test. The Roundtable, a culmination of working group discussions, aimed to address these issues and outline a framework for continued dialogue on the aforementioned issues surrounding of NGS.
