Background

Information Technology (IT) offers an opportunity to enhance HIV/AIDS training and provision of treatment. Increased use of IT will also contribute to data collection necessary for operational/effectiveness and treatment outcomes research. However, there has been limited experience in the use of IT in the setting of global HIV/AIDS. This symposium will focus on the potential of IT in training and research and issues surrounding its implementation.
